“He's a talented and well-respected author. His articles are an insightful read for all critical thinkers — believers and non-believers alike.”

ren•e•gade ( /ˈrenəˌɡād/ ) one who has defied convention; a rebel or outlaw.

That sounds a little ominous ... especially when dealing with people's beliefs and the Bible —  specifically, ancient history. But it's really not all that sinister. It is true though that many of my views of biblical history, particularly of those times prior to King Solomon, admittedly color well outside the lines of mainstream Christian thought. This is due primarily to an apparent disconnect between the secular and Christian viewpoints about this period of our ancient past. It is during this time of our earliest beginnings that I hope to explore and help clarify.

chro·nol·o·gist | / krə-ˈnä-lə-jist / noun: an expert in chronology. Chronology (from Latin chronologia, from Ancient Greek χρόνος, chrónos, "time"; and -λογία, -logia) is the science of arranging events in their order of occurrence in time.

Twenty years of research into biblical history plus the study of hundreds of different journals and reports from hundreds of respected authors across a wide variety of scientific disciplines has led to a different understanding of how I see our ancient beginnings. These new realizations are the focus of most of my articles and give those who read them, another distinctive or alternative view of the Bible's timeline.

And last but not least ...I’m a born again man of faith. It might already be evident but I also love to write and over the last several years, have authored two books about our ancient past. Excerpts from those writings make up much of the articles contained here. Granted, as I've already stated, my writings are a departure from mainstream Christian theological opinion but it's been said that throughout history, some of our greatest discoveries, our deepest understandings, have first involved some degree of heresy. It's my hope that you find these articles an enjoyable resource that will help you along in your spiritual journey.
